School in general

Interesting for you might be the school in general.

I already told you, that there are different types of classes, the morning class and the afternoon class.
But first in general...

In the past, as it is told, the building of Westbourne Academy was an hotel, so it is a small school.
When you first walk through the doors you will see the school front desk on the right hand, on the left hand is the teachers room. The people at the front desk are really nice and give an answer to every question. If you go now straight the way along, you will come to the assembly room for the break, which includes a kiosk as well.
Going upstairs, there are different classrooms for each class.

Activities:
The school give the students the chance to meet after school, therefor they are planning many different activities and excursions.
To days in the week you can choose between many activities:
you can go climbing, playing football or any other activity they offer. Every week is a different program where you can sign in at the frontdesk.
The excursions for example are on every second weekend and you visit different places in England.
For example the weekend after I leave they will drive to the Longleave Safari Park, and for students
it´s cheaper than going on their own.
During the time I was at Westbourne Academy, we could go climbing or go playing lasertag, where I will join as well.
The program for all activities you can find in every room as well as the informations about the costs and when it is, or the teacher will give you the information during the week.
So all in all it's good for students who want to meet friends after school as well as you don't know what to do after school and you want to have fun. Every student has to check it out if they want to do something.

Kiosk:
The Kiosk in the Academy is small, but you can find nearly everything. The prices are good, not to expensive but as well, not cheap. But you can have your lunch only for 3 Pounds, which is impossible at the coffee shops near the Academy.

That is all you need to know, when you come to Westbourne Academy. The school is small but really good and all teachers are really friendly like the people at the front desk.
